Student Auditions

Fall 2026 Auditions for new GTiYO students will be held Sunday, August 23, 2:00-4:00 at the University of Toledo's Center for Performing Arts (1910 W. Rocket Drive, Toledo, 43606).  If planning to audition, please contact the conductor - Mr. Song - by phone or text at 419-704-0068. 

The GTiYO will host open auditions throughout the year for anyone interested in joining the orchestra.  Times will be set up by contacting Mr. Song via call or text at 419-704-0068. 

Students will be asked to prepare a piece of their choice for the audition. Student should also be prepared to perform a two octave major scale (C, G, D, A, F, or B flat) at the time of their audition.

The student should be studying with a private instructor outside of their school orchestra. If they are not, they will be recommended to study with one of the teachers in our organization.
