Founded in 2013 by Yang Kun Song, the GTiYO is a string orchestra that performs a diverse repertoire, including traditional and modern Chinese music, as well as Western compositions. Our students travel the world to perform and experience other cultures in the pursuit of the GTiYO mission of Bridging Cultural Diversity through Music Performance. Learn More

The GTIYO is proud to be partners with the University of Toledo. Through this partnership we have access to amazing faculty, top-notch rehearsal space at UT's Center for Performing Arts, and an amazing concert venue with the UT Doermann Theater. The value and impact UT has on our program and students are exceptional. Through our partnership, we are very proud to offer our students two $1,000 college scholarships for incoming freshmen to the UT music program each year.
